Whether you’re a ramen aficionado or a first-timer, Kintaro promises a dining experience that will keep you coming back for more.

From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable meal. The space is small but thoughtfully designed, with a modern yet casual vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff are friendly and attentive, offering a welcoming experience from start to finish. As soon as you sit down, you’ll notice how clean and well-maintained the restaurant is, which adds to the overall appeal of the place.

The menu at Kintaro Ramen Bar is where the magic happens. It features a variety of ramen dishes, each crafted with care and precision. One standout is the classic tonkotsu ramen-rich, savory, and packed with umami flavor. The broth is slow-cooked to perfection, delivering that signature creamy texture that makes it so satisfying. It’s a perfect balance of hearty and comforting, ideal for those cold evenings when you crave something warm and filling.

For those looking for something a little different, the spicy miso ramen is an excellent choice. With just the right amount of heat, it’s both flavorful and bold. The combination of miso and chili oil adds an extra layer of depth, making each bite a delightful burst of flavor. No matter which ramen you choose, the noodles are always cooked al dente, giving them the perfect chewiness to complement the rich broth.

Aside from ramen, the appetizers at Kintaro are worth trying as well. The gyoza-crispy on the outside and tender on the inside-pairs perfectly with a side of soy sauce and chili paste. If you're feeling adventurous, the karaage (Japanese fried chicken) is another crowd favorite. The crispy exterior gives way to juicy, tender chicken, making it the ideal start to your meal. The side dishes, like the pickled vegetables and seaweed salad, are the perfect accompaniment to balance out the heavier flavors of the ramen.

What sets Kintaro Ramen Bar apart from other ramen spots is their attention to detail and the quality of their ingredients. The team behind the restaurant clearly knows their craft, using only the freshest vegetables, high-quality meats, and the finest ramen noodles to create their dishes. They source their ingredients carefully, ensuring each bowl of ramen is not just a meal but an experience. You can taste the difference in every bite, and it’s easy to see why this place has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it an excellent value for what you get. Whether you’re dropping by for a quick lunch or settling in for a cozy dinner, you won’t leave hungry. The casual yet stylish ambiance makes it a great spot for both solo diners and groups, and there’s a sense of community among those who frequent the place.

One of the best things about Kintaro Ramen Bar is its location. Situated in Vitacura, a trendy area of Santiago, it's perfect for those looking to enjoy a meal in a lively neighborhood filled with other shops and attractions. • Cute place but the ramen tastes like flaccid instant ramen and from the attached pic it appears to be so. The broth tastes like water with miso and cayenne, also canned corn lol. I’ve made better ramen drunk at 1am. I assume all the 5 stars here have never had any decent ramen in Japan or US. On the other hand, pretty cool that they have draft japanese micro brews.

  • I always love the takoyaki, and the shoyu ramen today was perfect! Love it. The only suggestion is to please improve the mochi filled with ice cream (dessert). That was NOT tasty at all and honestly spoiled my experience today. Please make some serious improvement on that - this is the most typical japanese dessert you handle and it should not taste that bad…

  • Great option for a ramen when you are in Vitacura. You can choose tables indoor or on a terrace. The shrimp gyosas are super tasteful. On the menu, we also tried the Tonkotsu ramen with a thick pork-based broth, a perfectly cooked egg (jammy egg yolk ) and delicious toppings. I thought the noodles could feel a little more artisanal. They were very good but I prefer them a tiny bit thicker and with a little more elasticity. Friendly waiters and good service. I’ll be back for sure to try other ramens even on a sunny summer day.

  • The menu offers a variety of Japanese and Asian snacks and main dishes. The takoyaki is more crispy than the traditional takoyaki. I had the special paiten black ramen. The soup has a nice flavor. It’s not completely authentic or the best ramen I have had. But for an Asian person living in Chile and desperately missing Asian food, this hits the spot.

  • The best ramen in Santiago hands down! Ive been so many times now and it’s always just as good. Broth is perfect, egg is always gooey and tasty pork.

  • Ramen was good but not the best I've ever had. Noodles had a good amount of chew. Broth was rich and flavourful. Charsiu was tasty but it was missing something.

  • Good and authentic Ramen. Nice variety, good entrees also (marvelous tempura and kara-age). Beer available as well as cocktails, both classic and house recipes. Definitely try the Hoshizora (pictured below) My only qualm is service is slow when there's many people.
